- Published 2/08/2011
Our client is a vibrant, innovative and successful Australian owned ITC company. They are recognised market leaders in the delivery of high quality IT services in large government and private organisations.
Our clients latest success in Darwin is with the Northern Territory where we have a great team of individuals to see us deliver a service second to none, we are now keen to have an indigenous cadet join our Team based in the Darwin CBD.
A cadetship is a great way to get a career head start. Our client can provide a practical work placement to complement your study in a flexible manner, as well as financial support while you complete your degree. Kinetic IT will sponsor you for the length of your study towards an undergraduate degree course at an Australian tertiary institution. We are a supportive company and keen to assist you in achieving your career goals.
Ideally we would like to take on a cadet from one of the following disciplines - Education, Human Resources, Business or Commerce, Information Technology or Indigenous affairs. Your focus of study does not necessarily have to match our field of work as we have some interesting projects outside of IT that may interest you. Your cadetship will be individually tailored to suit your studies and provide opportunities for meaningful work that makes a genuine contribution to Kinetic IT’s objectives.
Our Indigenous Cadetship program is run in conjunction with the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations’ (DEEWR) Indigenous Cadetship Support (ICS). Applicants must be familiar with the ICS terms and conditions and registered on the ICS database. To find out more, visit www.ics.deewr.gov.au or ring 1802102. As a cadet our client provides -
• Up to $1000 each year for books and equipment
• A study allowance for 40 weeks of the year
• A generous salary for your twelve weeks of work experience
• Travel and accommodation assistance in certain circumstances
If you are looking for a workplace where you can be challenged in your work and contribute to making a difference in the community, then we have a great opportunity for you. Our workplace is characterised by supportive people, professionalism and diversity, unlimited learning opportunities, career prospects, and a family-friendly culture.
