GTNT recognised and rewarded the Katherine Region last night and presented 7 awards to apprentices/trainees, a Supervisor and a Host Employer. An enjoyable and informal gathering of 35 people attended the presentation with the award winners as follows -

- School Based Encouragement Award: Tori Lacey (NTPFES);
- Trainee of the Year: Johnny Cooper (Dept of Resources);
- Stage Apprentice of the Year: Dale Prime (PWC) & Phillip Yates (PWC);
- Indigenous Apprentice of the Year: Allan Anderson (NRETAS);
- Supervisor of the Year: James Gorman (NRETAS);
- Host Employer of the Year: Mabunji Aboriginal Resource Association.
