An Apprenticeship/Traineeship is how you combine training with paid employment. There are over 500 different qualifications available to choose from. Apprenticeships and Traineeships are a stepping stone to better employment opportunities and/or further education and training. An Apprenticeship will generally take you three to four years to complete and is usually a traditional trade such as Plumbing, Automotive and Hairdressing. A Traineeship usually takes 12 months to 2 years and has qualifications like Business, Finance, IT, Child Care and Conservation.
