Cafe Manager

GTNT are currently looking for a full time Café Manager to take the lead on a newly acquired café located in Winnellie.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience managing a café and experience supervising and training front of house staff.

Applicant Requirements

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will have:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality or 2 years relevant experience 
  • Great personal presentation
  • Barista experience
  • Operating till, managing paperwork etc.
  • At least 2 years relevant hospitality management experience in a café and/or restaurant
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • People management skills, including training and developing staff
  • Computer literate with the ability to prepare and analyse spread sheets
  • Sound knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility

Package Includes

Salary $46,000 - $50,000 pa (commencement level will be assessed based on previous experience and knowledge win the industry)

About Australian Apprenticeships NT

Australian Apprenticeships NT manages and processes Training Contracts, Government incentives and Apprentice and employer information. Australian Apprenticeships NT also promotes Australian Apprenticeships and provides information at shows, exhibitions, industry forums, workplaces, schools, employer and community groups. 

 

Support Network Officer 

The Field Officer within the Australian Apprenticeships Network NT (AANNT) is the Support Network Officer position. This role is responsible for signing up Australian Apprentice’s, ensuring compliance and increasing Apprenticeship and Traineeship numbers in the Katherine region and surrounding areas. 

This position requires someone who enjoys remote travel, meeting clients and is passionate about contributing to increasing opportunities in training and employment through Australian Apprenticeship pathways. The successful applicant will be required to have great time management skills, organisational skills and capable of working independently. This position will predominately be required to be self-motivated and understand the importance of compliance and meeting deadlines. 

Package Includes

  • Full time contract
  • Salary $62,133 - $73,225 (commencement level will be assessed based on previous experience and knowledge win the industry)

Applicant Requirements

To be successful the applicant will be required to meet the following key requirements: 

•    Completion of Certificate IV in Employment Services or with subsequent relevant previous experience in related field.
•    Demonstrated ability to empathise and communicate effectively with diverse client groups.
•    Commitment and motivation to achieve high quality outcomes by meeting or exceeding KPI’s and set targets.
•    Ability to develop professional correspondence to a high standard.
•    Work semi-autonomously, set own goals and daily programs and report on progress to team members and other staff.
•    Ability to be systematic in approach to work whilst complying with relevant guidelines, procedures, deadlines and relevant legislation. 
•    Demonstrated experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn new client management database programs. 
•    Ability to travel throughout the Northern Territory for extended periods. 
•    Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Apprenticeships system.
•    Demonstrated previous knowledge and experience in marketing and selling skills

Previous experience with remote travel and dealing with diverse cultures is highly desirable.

Gateway Officer 

The Gateway Officer within the Australian Apprenticeships Network NT (AANNT) is responsible for the efficient delivery of Gateway Services covering reception, administration and support services to the Australian Apprenticeships NT office.in the Katherine region and surrounding areas.

•    Salary $46,380 - $50,916 (commencement level will be assessed based on previous experience and knowledge win the industry)

To be successful the applicant will be required to meet the following key requirements: 

  • Completion of or progress towards the Certificate III or higher in Business (Administration) and/or subsequent relevant experience in related field.
  • Commitment to providing high quality customer services to internal and external clients.
  • The capacity to meet extremely tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to high quality workmanship, attention to detail and complete accuracy in respect of administrative work.
  • High level of communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse client groups. 
  • Ability to be systematic in approach to work, comply with relevant guidelines, procedures, deadlines and show initiative.
  • High level of experience with Microsoft programs and client/database management systems. 
  • Demonstrated experience with recruitment services
