BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

Eligibility/entry requirements: There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Length of course: This program is delivered over 12 months full-time or 24 month part time

How will you learn?

The program has been designed to give students a range of flexible training options, to meet their needs, these include face to face classroom based, distance learning, blended delivery and/or through work experience training. Face to face training includes a range of practical activities in a simulated work environment, along with theory components – some of which may need to be completed by students outside of class times.

Career pathways

Further training pathways from this qualification include but are not limited to the Advanced Diploma of Management or other Advanced Diploma qualifications. A possible job title relevant to this qualification is a Manager.

This training program covers 12 units of competency taken from the Business Services Training Package and are recognised nationwide. There are four core units and eight elective units.
